Chapter 6. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE ORDINANCE |
Article II. APPLICATION, PERMITS AND LICENSES, PENALTIES AND FEES |
§ 6-33. Licensing mandatory; penalty for violation.
(a)
It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or possess for the purpose of sale any alcoholic beverage where the person does not have a license granted by City of Snellville to sell or possess for the purpose of sale these alcoholic beverages, or to sell or make deliveries beyond the boundaries of the premises covered by the license. Violations of this section shall result in a fine of not less than $500.00 and/or 30 days in jail.
(b)
Distilleries licensed under state law, and holding a manufacturing license issued by the City of Snellville, selling distilled spirits manufactured on-premises, for consumption on-premises or by package sales on the premises, shall not be subject to the provisions of this section.
(c)
Breweries licensed under state law, and holding a manufacturing license issued by the City of Snellville, selling malt beverages manufactured on-premises, for consumption on-premises or by the package, shall not be subject to the provisions of this section.
